As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing."
So a few handfuls of cheese puffs and thousands of sixteenth-notes later, here I am. Playing on the internet. Yay! I love the internet... so ripe and juicy.
(speaking of ripe and juicy, "Peel Me a Grape")
I'm tired of feeling sorry for myself. I'm glad. I need for someone to peel me a grape. You wanna cheer me? Cashmere me.... >;) I'm so excited about July -- I'll be going home for the 4th, then heading out to the Denver area for a while after that! Drums Along the Rockies will be a lot of fun, and I get to see all my Troopers friends (well, except for my most recent Troopers "friend"... he he...). It's sort of a business trip, though -- I'm checking out CU, because I have always loved that area. Lauren is going to show me around out there. I know that I'm Back, because my plans change everyday. That's how I know that I'm back to being me.
The more I think about it, it sounds really inviting to move out to Colorado... I really want to get some kind of good paying job -- pencil-pushing, or computer-based... doesn't really matter. I need to pay my bills, ya know? It is good, though, that I'm getting paid to write music! That's at least a step in the right direction!
::sigh:: music, music, music, music.... I have written until my mind is completely drained... lol... I don't even remember how to spell corectly! Ah... case in point...
I tell you what, though... it's really funny how people can be there for you, way after you thought you'd never really talk to them! First Lauren contacts me out of the blue, then Brant was able to hook me up with Sibelius 4 over the internet. I swear, if I was a tenth as smart as that guy...
Well, the "skeeters" are starting to find me now. I have to sit on a little bench in downtown Apex across the street from the Common Grounds coffee shop so I can piggyback their internet signal. I don't mind, though -- it's a beautiful night!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go ice down my creativity gland. I think some cold beer will do the trick.

Ah, creativity. I'm a firm believer that if you don't use it regularly, it fades away. So... keep on... keepin' on.
Oh, and if you want, here is my blog that no one reads, (literally).
