Damn it.

I'm dieing. No, really -- death and destruction and devastation. No, I'm not over-reacting, thank you... it's dire.

Ok, so maybe not that dire. But still, what is the meaning of this? I have been getting rest, taking my little vitamin tablets, eating healthy food...

(except the ice cream)

It's lame, really -- I was able to go teach at school today. Two and a half hours isn't too bad, and I wasn't all by myself, thank goodness. even so, I felt like I was on my last leg! On my way home, I tried calling my boss (at the coffee shop) to inform him of my plight -- I'm supposed to work tomorrow morning. Ack! Tomorrow morning, 6:00 am even!

I *never* work weekends. I just don't do it. Is this cosmic justice? Ha, ha... ha. Stop it, universe!

So there I was, on the brink of death -- of course he didn't answer my call, but I did happen to run into him (figuratively speaking) as I stopped by to get myself some hot tea. Rather than going straight home and promptly putting myself to bed, I called every store in the area to see if anyone might want to pick up my shift.

Let me tell you, that was great -- "Heh, I had to go all the way to *Greenville* to find someone to work *my* shift when my brother came into town!"

You know what, mister moody coffee shop barista dude? Don't care. I care as much as you do, which is none.

Arrgghghghg!

I feel better now.

In other news, I have a new creative project! Hurray! I'm trying to weave selected works of Rufus Wainwright into a musical theater production. I sincerely feel that these songs tell a bigger story, but also that they could tell countless stories. That's the problem... too many good characters, too many good tunes.

I have never tried anything like this before, so it's exciting and overwhelming. If I can ever get something set, it would delight me to no end to see it put up on its feet! I wonder how one goes about that... producing and all --

I'm doomed.

No, it's a solid idea! I can do this -- it will be grand, and glorious, and amazing! It will be the next HUGE thing to hit Broadway! I can hear it now!

In a completely unrelated note, does anyone have Rufus Wainwright's email address?

kthxby
