Oh noez!

I have the flu, damn it. Not the pig flu, just the regular kind.

Well, at least I think I have the flu. I went to the doctor today -- I'm running a slight fever, and combined with the cough, the aches, and the general malaise, it's probably flu. Apparently, they don't even test for that anymore because the test itself only has a 40% accuracy rate.

Looking on the bright side, I got a doctor's note to stay home from work until Thursday. Rock on! cough cough wheeze Oh right, I'm sick. Damn.

At least that will give me ample time to get some knitting done. I had wanted to make the Swine Flu Mask for a while, and when I realized that I had the perfect, slightly-variegated "piggy snoot pink" yarn (that I dyed myself, thank you), under the circumstances I simply had to start it. I wish that I had already finished it today, being that I actually had to don one of those surgical face masks for the duration of my doctor visit.

Catching up on knitting, podcasts, and organizing my music -- that pretty much sums up what life is going to be like for the next few days.

Meh.
